Airbnb
Airbnb sought support with scaling their host acquisition efforts and general host engagement.
Terra provided a solution that included the build a hub of original resources and content centered around individuality of both a person and a property.
I led the execution of creative and multimedia assets, ranging from: illustrations, animations, newsletter designs, and a video series; all of which were housed in this new Airbnb host resources hub and established a breadth of content for Airbnb to continue on with.

Animated Explainer Video
We produced an animated video in-house explaining strategy behind considering fees and taxes when pricing one’s property.
Alongside copywriters and our brand strategy lead, I produced storyboards, animated and edited rough cuts in After Effects and Premiere, and oversaw freelance motion graphics artists who were hired in later phases of the project to help me manage my bandwidth.
EARLY PHASE STORYBOARDS
Evergreen Newsletter Illustrations
I created illustrations that would accompany a set of newsletters that would have an evergreen and permanent place in Airbnb’s Resource Center.
Since Airbnb has a global presence, it was important that holistically these visuals did not indicate any geographic bias, so I leaned into capturing different rural and urban landscapes that showcase the breadth and diversity of properties.
With each illustration, I worked with a limited color palettes lifted from Airbnb’s broader palette.
‘Host Stories’ Video Series
To spotlight and humanize Airbnb’s superhosts and illustrate what can be accomplished via being a host, I worked with freelance videographers around the world to direct and produce a number of video features.
The videographers provided me raw footage, and I edited the final cuts.
