This illustration was drawn in Photoshop for "A Growing Minority" — a story of the underrepresented black and Latino perspectives in the computer science program at Penn. I won a 2018 Columbia Scholastic Press Association Gold Circle Award in Computer Generated Art/Illustration (First Place) for this piece.

I shot and edited this Observational, documentary-style look at a bodybuilding competition, following athletes throughout the night to paint a portrait of life beyond tanned and toned bodies. I let the diegetic sound shine in this piece to provide as raw and authentic a perspective as possible.

I was one of the design leads for The DP's investigation of Penn’s campus’ mental health crisis, which earned the newspaper a Pacemaker award in 2018, the “Pulitzer prize for college journalism."

The Daily Pennsylvanian, Inc. (The DP) is the University of Pennsylvania's independent student media organization and is the umbrella of three publications: The Daily Pennsylvanian, the daily newspaper; 34th Street Magazine, an arts and entertainment magazine; and Under the Button, a humor blog. With each and every year of my tenure, I was tasked with pushing The DP's visual storytelling calibre and capabilities.

I was stationed just outside of Philadelphia's city hall for the last quarter of Super Bowl LII to capture moment of the city's celebratory riots unfolded, from beginning to end. This video was edited to parallel the energy of the riots and establish the hectic atmosphere, as well as montage-style editing to illustrate a handful of different characters and perspectives.
